History

The studio was built in 1976 by Streaplers, a very well known band in Sweden. It was designed by Tom Hidley at Eastlake Audio. Studio Bohus hosted some of the most popular groups at the time being. Status Quo recorded their million selling album “Rocking all over the world”. ABBA recorded a lot of their music here as well. In recent years movies like “BECK” have scored music for 8 episodes. Westlife with producers Max Martin & Rami have mixed songs in the studio. Swedish major artists such as Magnus Uggla, Björn Afzelius and lots of the Swedish schlager music have also been recorded and mixed in the studio. In recent years producer Tobias Lindell has recorded, mixed and produced bands such as Europe, Mustasch and Hardcore Superstar amongst many.
